🏳 Stardew Valley · Complete Multiplayer Guide

💡 Overview: Stardew Valley supports up to 4 players. All players share the same farm but have separate money, inventory, and skills. Host saves progress, guest data follows host save.

🖥️ PC Co-op Methods

Steam Remote Play (Recommended)

Host: ESC > Co-op > Start LAN. Guest: Right-click host in Steam friends list > Remote Play Together.

Note: Both need legit copies. Steam friends must be online.

📪 LAN Co-op

Same WiFi: Host: Start LAN co-op. Guest: Join LAN co-op > Refresh to find host room.

For: Dorm, home, internet cafe on same network.

📆 IP Direct Connect

Host needs public IP or tunnel tool. Host starts LAN co-op, guest enters host IP address.

📱 Mobile Co-op

Same WiFi

Host creates room, guest joins LAN co-op and refreshes to find host.

📱 Mobile Hotspot

Host enables hotspot, guest connects, then join LAN co-op in game.

Lag/latency: Host use wired connection, pause downloads/streaming
Mod mismatch: All players must have identical mod list and version
Host offline: Only host can host the session
